All grey granite paving slabs in this collection are produced directly through our own quarry and manufacturing facilities. By controlling block selection, cutting, flaming and calibration, we ensure exceptionally consistent quality at every stage. This direct supply chain allows us to offer premium paving at highly competitive prices, without compromising on the strength or precision that granite is known for.

Installation Guidance for Grey Granite Paving

Correct surface orientation
For safe and effective use, always lay granite with the flamed, textured surface facing upwards. The sawn face should be placed downwards as the bedding surface. The flamed finish provides natural grip when wet, while light saw marks on the underside are entirely normal.

Always use a full mortar bed
Granite paving must be installed on a continuous, fully supported mortar bed. Avoid dot bedding, dab bedding, spot bedding or ring bedding, as these methods create weak points and may lead to rocking slabs, cracking or water penetration. A full-bed approach ensures long-term stability and a strong bond across the entire surface.

For driveways, edging and high-strength detailing work, we also supply matching grey granite setts, which provide a robust and visually coordinated finish alongside grey granite paving slabs.

Installed correctly, grey granite paving offers a modern, resilient and low-maintenance surface that performs exceptionally well in the British climate and maintains its clean, architectural appearance for many years.
