Installation Guidance

For safety and correct performance, the flamed textured side must be used as the top surface. The smooth sawn face should always be used on the underside of the slab. Using the smooth face on top may result in slipperiness, especially when wet.

Granite paving must be installed on a full mortar bed. We strongly advise against dot bedding, dab bedding, ring bedding, or any spot-support methods. A continuous full bed ensures long-term stability, prevents future cracking, and provides proper load distribution.
